Ahmad Etebari joined the Whittemore School faculty in 1980, and has been chair of the School's Accounting and Finance Department since January 1994. He has held visiting positions at Waikato University and Otago University in New Zealand, Bond University in Australia, University of Tehran in Iran, and University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA.
Ahmad's teaching and research interests are in corporate finance and investments. He is the 1992 recipient of the Whittemore School's Teaching Excellence Award and has published in national and international professional journals. He is Past President of Northeast Business & Economics
Association and serves on editorial boards of Petroleum Accounting and The Journal of Northeast Business & Economic Studies, and as ad-hoc reviewer for several finance journals. Ahmad is involved in the Whittemore School's executive programs.
