Daniel E. Innis is Dean of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.
Prior to his arrival at UNH, Dr. Innis served as Dean of the University of Maine’s College of Business, Public Policy, and Health, where he introduced new and exciting initiatives in each of the programs and raised the profile of the college. During his tenure, he developed international programs, coordinated the college’s strategic planning, and significantly increased the financial gifts to the school, including the largest gift ever received by the college. Dean Innis previously served Ohio University as the Associate Dean of the College of Business, Chair of the Marketing Department, and as a professor in the Marketing Department. In addition to his academic experience, Dean Innis spent two years with the Warner-Lambert Company in Morris Plains, NJ as an assistant operations analyst in the corporate distribution division.
Dr. Innis is co-author of a book, Strategic Planning for Logistics, and his papers have appeared in the Journal of Business Logistics, the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, the Journal of Psychology and Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Research, and Advances in Consumer Research.
Dean Innis is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the American Marketing Association, the Academy of Marketing Science, the Association for Consumer Research, and the Council of Logistics Management.
