Fields of Specialization:
In addition to financial management and economic analysis expertise, Dr. Aliouche has extensive practical experience identifying and quantifying new business opportunities, developing new ventures, and acquiring and integrating companies. He has also provided business consulting services, with projects that included analyzing the effectiveness of international advertising, developing forecasting systems, devising optimal pricing strategies, and building business plans for new ventures.

Hachemi Aliouche is an Associate Professor of Hospitality Management at the University of New Hampshire and a Senior Research Fellow at the William Rosenberg International Center of Franchising. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. in Economics from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (University of New Hampshire), and a Mini-MBA in Finance (Wharton School of Business/AT&T joint program).
Dr. Aliouche has over 12 years of business experience, and has held senior management positions with leading global companies. He was the CFO of a division of Lucent Technologies, the Controller of a business unit of Avaya Communications, and the Business Planning Manager of a $10 Billion division of AT&T. Recently, Dr. Aliouche started a new business venture and managed it to over $1 Million in annual revenues and positive cash flow within less than 18 months.
Dr. Aliouche is a member of the Board of Trustees of the RiverWoods Company. He is also a member of the International Society of Franchising.
Recent Research:
Dr. Aliouche's primary research interests lie in the areas of franchising, new business venture development, business and economic forecasting, and the linkages between the macro economy, business performance and stock price performance.
