Mary E. Collins has been the State Director of the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center (NH SBDC) since 1997. She brings to the SBDC a diverse background including financial management and operations, business development, and numerous years of experience in both manufacturing and service industries.
As State Director, Ms. Collins provides leadership in creating, implementing and administering concepts and programs for small businesses throughout New Hampshire. In this capacity she oversees regional counseling and training offices, satellite offices, the lead center in Durham and all SBDC statewide programs. These programs include a number of specialty programs including: the Office of Economic Initiatives; New Hampshire Environmental Compliance Assistance Program; and the Manufacturing Management Center (MMC), which offers technology/manufacturing assistance statewide. Ms. Collins currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire High Technology Council (NHHTC) and the NH EPSCOR committee, (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research), a statewide science and technology initiative. In addition, Ms. Collins participates on the Economic Development Committee of the NH Business and Industry Association (BIA) and is a legislated member of the NH International Trade Advisory Board.
