MS in Accounting

The MS in Accounting is a one-year professional program that also addresses the concerns of accounting licensing boards in states that have adopted the 150-credit requirement. The program fulfills recommendations set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The Whittemore School is a preferred provider for the NH Society of CPAs (NHSPCA).

The program emphasizes a basic core of technical accounting knowledge together with analytical communication skills. Students with undergraduate degrees in accounting can complete the required thirty semester hours and obtain the MS in Accounting in one academic year. Class size is kept below twenty-five to promote relationships between students and faculty, and electives are often taken with the MBA program to foster a professional network.

Recent graduates are currently working for:

  • Ernst & Young

  • Johnson and Johnson, Inc.
