This week's focus is our big project in Managerial Decision Making. It is a group project that makes up the majority of the class grade. The proposal is due this Monday, so over the weekend, most of the groups were huddled in the basement of the library attempting to put a framework around our ideas. The assignment is very broad, so we can really go anywhere we want within a certain industry. Broad guidelines are both good and bad; good in the sense that you can be creative and guide the project toward your own interests but it can be challenging since the grading criteria is also broad, leaving room for interpretation.
