Peer Advising - A Resource For Students

Through the Whittemore School's rewarding peer advising system, first-year students are introduced to the college experience by selected upper-class students. The program familiarizes new students with their major, college, and the University; supports them in their personal growth; develops responsibility; and encourages them to use campus advising services.

To apply to be a WSBE Peer Advisor for the 2012-2013 academic year, interested WSBE students should complete the application below and submit it to the Undergraduate Programs Office (wsbe [dot] advising [at] unh [dot] edu) by Friday, February 17, 2012. A resume accompanying the application is preferred.

Generally, peer advisors should have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 and be in their Junior or Senior year in 2012-2013. Students must make a commitment for both Fall and Spring semesters. (Peer Advisors earn 2 credits per semester for successful completion of the commitment).
