International Economics

Covers both international trade theory and open-economy macroeconomics. Systematic analysis of the process and consequences of international integration. Introduction to the theoretical foundations of free trade areas, custom unions, common markets, and economic unions. Comprehensive examination of the historical developments in the formation of major economic blocs, such as the European Union (EU) and the North American Free Trade Area (NAFTA), and evaluation of the growing political and economic relationships between member countries regarding monetary and fiscal integration.
