Term dates apply to the graduate economics and full- and part-time MBA programs. Please note payment and add/drop information applies only to students in the part-time MBA program.
Full-time MBA and graduate economics students should refer to the university’s schedule [1] for registration and refund information.

August 20 – 24, 2007	Full-time MBA Orientation 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
August 21	Part-time MBA Durham Orientation 6:00 pm
August 22	Part-time MBA Manchester Orientation 6:00 pm
August 27	MA/PhD New Student Orientation 11:30 – 3:30 pm
August 31	MS Accounting Orientation 9:00 – 5:00 pm
Term I
August 24	Last day for PTMBA students to receive 100% refund for dropping a Term I course or withdrawing from the program.
August 27	Term I Classes Begin Term I payment for PTMBA students due
August 31	Last day to add a Term I course. Last day for PTMBA students to receive 75% refund for dropping a Term I course or withdrawing from the program. Last day to drop courses without dean’s approval or late fee.
September 3	Labor Day Holiday, No classes held PTMBA D make-up class held Tuesday 9/5 PTMBA M make-up class TBA FTMBA/Econ make-up class held Friday 9/7
September 7	Last day for PTMBA students to drop a Term I course or withdraw from the program and receive 50% refund. After September 7 there will be no refunds and you will be required to formally petition to drop a course with a grade of WP or WF.
September 28	Term I Classes End Last day for PTMBA students to receive 100% refund for dropping a Term II course or withdrawing from the program.
Term II
October 1	Term II Classes Begin Term II payment for PTMBA students due
October 12	Last day to add a Term II course. Last day for PTMBA students to receive a 75% refund for dropping a Term II course or withdrawing from the program. Last day to drop a course without dean’s approval or a late fee.
October 26	Last day for PTMBA students to drop a Term II course or withdraw from the program and receive 50% refund. After October 26 there will be no refunds. After this date you will be required to formally petition to drop with a grade of WP or WF.
November 12	Veteran’s Day Holiday, University closed, no classes
November 13	MBA/Economics Tuesday classes meet today Monday classes met for semester calendar today
November 20 – 23	Thanksgiving Holiday, Term II Classes do NOT meet
November 23 – 24	University closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
December 14	Term II Classes End
December 31	Fall Graduation Date – no ceremony Last day to for a part-time MBA student to receive 100% refund for dropping a Term III course or withdrawing from the program.
Term III
January 7, 2008	Term III Classes Begin Term III PTMBA payments are due
January 21	Martin Luther King Holiday, University Closed Monday 1/21 make-up held on 1/25 unless otherwise instructed
January 25	Last day to add or drop a Term III course without a $25 late fee. Last day for PTMBA students to drop a Term III course or withdraw from the program and receive a 75% refund. Last day to drop a course without dean’s approval and late fee.
February 8	Last day for PTMBA students to drop a Term III course or withdraw from the program and receive 50% refund. After February 8 there will be no refunds. After this date you will be required to formally petition to drop with a grade of WP or WF.
March 14	Term III Classes End
March 17 - 21	Spring Recess, no classes the University is open
March 21	Last day for a PTMBA student to receive 100% refund for dropping a Term IV course or withdrawing from the program.
Term IV
March 24	Term IV Classes Begin Term IV PTMBA payments are due
April 4	Last day to add or drop a Term IV course without a $25 late fee. Last day for a PTMBA student to drop a Term IV course and receive 75% refund. Last day to drop courses without dean’s approval or late fee.
April 18	Last day for a PTMBA student to drop a Term IV course or withdraw from the program and receive a 50% refund. After April 18 there will be no refund. After this date you will be required to formally petition to drop with a grade of WP or WF.
May 23	Whittemore School Graduate Student Hooding Ceremony
May 24	University Commencement
May 26	Memorial Day Holiday, make-up class date TBA
May 30	Term IV Classes End Last day for a PTMBA student to drop a Term V course or withdraw from the program to receive a 100% refund.
Term V
June 2	Term V Classes Begin Term V PTMBA payments are due
June 6	Last day for a PTMBA student to receive 75% refund for dropping a Term V course or withdrawing from the program. Last day to drop a course without dean’s approval or late fee.
June 8	Last day for a PTMBA student to drop a Term V course or withdraw from the program and receive a 50% refund. After June 8 there will be no refunds and you will be required to formally petition to drop with a grade of WP or WF.
July 3	Term V Classes End
