One (1) TENURE TRACK POSITION IN BUSINESS STATISTICS

The Whittemore School of Business and Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Decision Sciences Department beginning Fall Semester 2010. The School actively creates and nurtures a dynamic learning environment in which qualified individuals of differing perspectives, life experiences and cultural backgrounds pursue academic goals with mutual respect and a shared spirit of inquiry.   

The position will have responsibility for teaching both required and elective graduate and undergraduate courses in various areas including: business statistics, quantitative methods, and information systems.  Applicants with an appropriate doctoral degree by August 2010 will be given preference.  Strong research interests in applied statistics and data analytics are preferred.  We seek candidates with the ability to work with diverse student groups.  Applicants should submit a complete resume, three letters of reference (at least one should address teaching proficiency), and sample evidence of research activity.
