Originally from Cumberland Foreside, Maine, Samantha Bowden is a senior at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics. She is a Business Administration major focusing specifically on the Accounting and Finance Option. Recently, Samantha was nominated to serve as a collegiate scholar in the International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) Delegation on Business during the summer of 2008.
Each year, UNH faculty and staff at both campuses are given the opportunity to recognize outstanding full-time students enrolled in a degree program. Meet two WSBE students who are 2008 UNH Student Award Recipients: Jessica Compton WSBE/COLA '08, University Women's Award and Brad Flaishans WSBE '08, University Award of Excellence.

FIDELITY CAREER & NETWORKING NIGHT
In partnership with the Whittemore School
of Business & Economics and the College of Engineering & Physical
Sciences, Fidelity Investments is holding their annual "Fidelity Night" networking event on Wednesday,
February 27 from 5-7 p.m. The event will take place in Holloway Commons in
the Swampscott and Cocheco rooms and is open to Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students.
Matthew Emory, a 1998 WSBE graduate, will be holding an
informal session on this Thursday, Nov. 1, at 6:45pm, in McConnell room
101 (Reading Room). Mr. Emory is Managing Director of the White Sands
Development Group in Florida, and will be speaking about the
transition from college to the work world, interviewing, and tips on making the
most of your education in preparation for your career.
