This course will notably increase knowledge and understanding of the private equity financing market, develop analytical skills in evaluating private equity financing details, learn from the experience of market practitioners, and enhance oral and written presentation skills. Examines the management of change and innovation, especially the role of entrepreneur in managing new ventures. Uses case analysis, guest speakers, and business plan preparation to study the characteristic behavioral, organizational, financial, and marketing problems of entrepreneurs and new enterprises. Prereq: ADMN 601, 611, and 651. Writing intensive.
